Isaiah 30:16-17

16and you said,
No! We will flee upon ahorses”;
therefore you shall flee away;
and, “We will ride upon swift steeds”;
therefore your pursuers shall be swift.
17 bA thousand shall flee at the threat of one;
at the threat of five you shall flee,
till you are left
like a flagstaff on the top of a mountain,
like a signal on a hill.

Jeremiah 21:7

7Afterward, declares the Lord, cI will give Zedekiah king of Judah and his servants and the people in this city who survive the pestilence, sword, and famine into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and into the hand of their enemies, into the hand of those who seek their lives. He shall strike them down with the edge of the sword. dHe shall not pity them or spare them or have compassion.’

Jeremiah 32:4

4 eZedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, fbut shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him face to face and see him eye to eye.

Jeremiah 34:21

21And gZedekiah king of Judah and his officials I will give into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their lives, into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon hwhich has withdrawn from you.

Jeremiah 37:18

18Jeremiah also said to King Zedekiah, “What wrong have I done to you or your servants or this people, ithat you have put me in prison?

Jeremiah 38:23

23All your wives and jyour sons shall be led out to the Chaldeans, and you yourself shall not escape from their hand, but shall be seized by the king of Babylon, and this city shall be burned with fire.”

Jeremiah 39:5

5But the army of the Chaldeans pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in kthe plains of Jericho. And when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, at lRiblah, in the land of Hamath; mand he passed sentence on him.

Lamentations 4:19-20

19 Our pursuers were nswifter
than the eagles in the heavens;
they chased us on the mountains;
they lay in wait for us in the wilderness.
20 oThe breath of our nostrils, pthe Lord’s anointed,
was captured qin their pits,
of whom we said, r“Under his shadow
we shall live among the nations.”
