Ezekiel 16:33-34

33Men give gifts to all prostitutes, ebut you gave your gifts to all your lovers, bribing them to come to you from every side with your whorings. 34So you were different from other women in your whorings. No one solicited you to play the whore, and fyou gave payment, while no payment was given to you; therefore you were different.

Hosea 2:5-7

5For gtheir mother has played the whore;
she who conceived them has acted shamefully.
For hshe said, ‘I will go after my lovers,
who igive me my bread and my water,
my wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.’
6Therefore jI will hedge up her
Hebrew your
way with thorns,
and lI will build a wall against her,
so that she cannot find her paths.
7She shall pursue her lovers
but not overtake them,
and she shall seek them
but shall not find them.
mThen she shall say,
‘I will go and return to nmy first husband,
ofor it was better for me then than now.’

Hosea 2:10

10Now pI will uncover her lewdness
in the sight of her lovers,
and no one shall rescue her out of my hand.
