Isaiah 34:5-6

5 For my sword has drunk its fill in the heavens;
behold, it descends for judgment upon aEdom,
upon the people bI have devoted to destruction.
6The Lord has a sword; it is sated with blood;
it is gorged with fat,
with the blood of lambs and goats,
with the fat of the kidneys of rams.
cFor the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah,
a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

Jeremiah 48:10

10 dCursed is he who does ethe work of the Lord with slackness, and cursed is he who keeps back his sword from bloodshed.

Jeremiah 50:35-40

35 “A sword against the Chaldeans, declares the Lord,
and against the inhabitants of Babylon,
and against fher officials and her gwise men!
36A sword against the diviners,
that they may become fools!
A sword against her hwarriors,
that they may be destroyed!
37A sword against her horses and against her chariots,
and against all ithe foreign troops in her midst,
that jthey may become women!
kA sword against all her treasures,
that they may be plundered!
38 lA drought against her waters,
that they may be dried up!
mFor it is a land of images,
and they are mad over idols.
39 nTherefore wild beasts shall dwell with hyenas in Babylon, and ostriches shall dwell in her. She shall never again have people, nor be inhabited for all generations. 40 oAs when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities, declares the Lord, pso no man shall dwell there, and no son of man shall sojourn in her.

Ezekiel 38:21-23

21 qI will summon a sword against Gog
Hebrew  against him
on all my mountains, declares the Lord God. sEvery man’s sword will be against his brother.
22With pestilence and bloodshed tI will enter into judgment with him, and uI will rain upon him and vhis hordes and the many peoples who are with him wtorrential rains and hailstones, xfire and sulfur. 23So I will show my greatness and my yholiness and zmake myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then aathey will know that I am the Lord.
