Isaiah 35:1

The Ransomed Shall Return

1 aThe wilderness and the dry land shall be glad;
bthe desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus;

Isaiah 35:7

7 cthe burning sand shall become a pool,
and the thirsty ground springs of water;
in the haunt of djackals, where they lie down,
the grass shall become reeds and rushes.

Isaiah 41:17-19

17 eWhen the poor and needy seek water,
and there is none,
and their tongue is parched with thirst,
I the Lord will answer them;
I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
18 fI will open rivers on the bare heights,
and fountains in the midst of the valleys.
gI will make the wilderness a pool of water,
and the dry land springs of water.
19 hI will put in the wilderness the cedar,
the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive.
I will set in the desert ithe cypress,
the plane and the pine together,

Isaiah 43:20

20The wild beasts will honor me,
jthe jackals and the ostriches,
kfor I give water in the wilderness,
rivers in the desert,
to give drink to my chosen people,

Isaiah 44:3-5

3 lFor I will pour water on the thirsty land,
and streams on the dry ground;
I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring,
and my blessing on your descendants.
4They shall spring up among the grass
mlike willows by flowing streams.
5 nThis one will say, ‘I am the Lord’s,’
another will call on the name of Jacob,
and another will write on his hand, ‘The Lord’s,’
and name himself by the name of Israel.”

Isaiah 49:9

9 osaying to the prisoners, ‘Come out,’
to those who are in darkness, ‘Appear.’
pThey shall feed along the ways;
on all bare heights shall be their pasture;

Jeremiah 31:9

9 qWith weeping they shall come,
rand with pleas for mercy I will lead them back,
I will make them swalk by brooks of water,
tin a straight path in which they shall not stumble,
for uI am a father to Israel,
