Isaiah 35:1-2

The Ransomed Shall Return

1 aThe wilderness and the dry land shall be glad;
bthe desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus;
2it shall blossom abundantly
and rejoice with joy and singing.
cThe glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,
the majesty of dCarmel and eSharon.
fThey shall see the glory of the Lord,
the majesty of our God.

Isaiah 42:1

The Lord’s Chosen Servant

1 gBehold hmy servant, whom I uphold,
my chosen, iin whom my soul delights;
jI have put my Spirit upon him;
khe will bring forth justice to the nations.

Isaiah 42:6

6I am the Lord; lI have called you
The Hebrew for  you is singular; four times in this verse
in righteousness;
I will take you by the hand and keep you;
I will give you nas a covenant for the people,
oa light for the nations,

Isaiah 49:6

6he says:
“It is too light a thing that you should be my servant
to raise up the tribes of Jacob
and to bring back the preserved of Israel;
pI will make you qas a light for the nations,
that rmy salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

Isaiah 52:10

10 sThe Lord has bared his holy arm
before the eyes of all the nations,
tand all the ends of the earth shall see
the salvation of our God.

Isaiah 60:3

3 uAnd nations shall come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your rising.

Isaiah 62:2

2 vThe nations shall see your righteousness,
and all the kings your glory,
wand you shall be called by a new name
that the mouth of the Lord will give.

Jeremiah 16:19

19 xO Lord, my strength and my stronghold,
ymy refuge in the day of trouble,
zto you shall the nations come
from the ends of the earth and say:
“Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies,
aaworthless things in which there is no profit.

Hosea 2:23

23and abI will sow her for myself in the land.

ah‘You are my people’;
