Isaiah 35:1-2

The Ransomed Shall Return

1 ^aThe wilderness and the dry land shall be glad;
^bthe desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus;
2 it shall blossom abundantly
and rejoice with joy and singing.
^cThe glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,
the majesty of ^dCarmel and ^eSharon.
^fThey shall see the glory of the Lord,
the majesty of our God.

Isaiah 35:7-10

7 ^gthe burning sand shall become a pool,
and the thirsty ground springs of water;
in the haunt of ^hjackals, where they lie down,
the grass shall become reeds and rushes.
8 ⁱAnd a highway shall be there,
and it shall be called the Way of Holiness;
^jthe unclean shall not pass over it.
It shall belong to those who walk on the way;
even if they are fools, they shall not go astray. ^{▼▼Or if they are fools, they shall not wander in it}
9 No lion shall be there,
nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it;
they shall not be found there,
but the redeemed shall walk there.
10 ^lAnd the ransomed of the Lord shall return
and come to Zion with singing;
^meverlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Isaiah 41:18-19

18 ⁿI will open rivers on the bare heights,
and fountains in the midst of the valleys.
^oI will make the wilderness a pool of water,
and the dry land springs of water.
19 ^pI will put in the wilderness the cedar,
the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive.
I will set in the desert ^qthe cypress,
the plane and the pine together,
