Isaiah 35:1-2

The Ransomed Shall Return

1 aThe wilderness and the dry land shall be glad;
bthe desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus;
2it shall blossom abundantly
and rejoice with joy and singing.
cThe glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,
the majesty of dCarmel and eSharon.
fThey shall see the glory of the Lord,
the majesty of our God.

Isaiah 35:7-10

7 gthe burning sand shall become a pool,
and the thirsty ground springs of water;
in the haunt of hjackals, where they lie down,
the grass shall become reeds and rushes.
8 iAnd a highway shall be there,
and it shall be called the Way of Holiness;
jthe unclean shall not pass over it.
It shall belong to those who walk on the way;
even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.
Or  if they are fools, they shall not wander in it

9No lion shall be there,
nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it;
they shall not be found there,
but the redeemed shall walk there.
10 lAnd the ransomed of the Lord shall return
and come to Zion with singing;
meverlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Isaiah 41:18-19

18 nI will open rivers on the bare heights,
and fountains in the midst of the valleys.
oI will make the wilderness a pool of water,
and the dry land springs of water.
19 pI will put in the wilderness the cedar,
the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive.
I will set in the desert qthe cypress,
the plane and the pine together,
