The Lord’s Chosen Servant

1 cBehold dmy servant, whom I uphold,
my chosen, ein whom my soul delights;
fI have put my Spirit upon him;
ghe will bring forth justice to the nations.

Isaiah 49:3

3And he said to me, “You are my servant,
Israel, hin whom I will be glorified.”
Or  I will display my beauty

Isaiah 49:5-6

5 jAnd now the Lord says,
he kwho formed me from the womb to be his servant,
to bring Jacob back to him;
and that Israel might be gathered to him—
for lI am honored in the eyes of the Lord,
and my God has become my strength
6he says:
“It is too light a thing that you should be my servant
to raise up the tribes of Jacob
and to bring back the preserved of Israel;
mI will make you nas a light for the nations,
that omy salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

Daniel 9:17

17Now therefore, O our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his pleas for mercy, and for your own sake, O Lord,
