Isaiah 40:1-2

Comfort for God’s People

1 aComfort, comfort my people, says your God.
2 bSpeak tenderly to Jerusalem,
and cry to her
that cher warfare
Or hardship
is ended,
that her iniquity is pardoned,
that she has received from the Lord’s hand
double for all her sins.

Isaiah 54:9-10

9 This is like ethe days of Noah
Some manuscripts For this is as the waters of Noah
to me:
as I swore that the waters of Noah
should no more go over the earth,
so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you,
and will not rebuke you.
10For the mountains may depart
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and gmy covenant of peace shall not be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

Ezekiel 39:29

29 hAnd I will not hide my face anymore from them, when iI pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, declares the Lord God.”
