Isaiah 40:19

19 aAn idol! A craftsman casts it,
and a goldsmith overlays it with gold
and casts for it silver chains.

Isaiah 44:12-15

12 bThe ironsmith takes a cutting tool and works it over the coals. He fashions it with hammers and works it with his strong arm. He becomes hungry, and his strength fails; he drinks no water and is faint. 13The carpenter stretches a line; he marks it out with a pencil. He shapes it with planes and marks it with a compass. cHe shapes it into the figure of a man, with the beauty of a man, to dwell in a house. 14 dHe cuts down cedars, or he chooses a cypress tree or an oak and lets it grow strong among the trees of the forest. He plants a cedar and the rain nourishes it. 15Then it becomes fuel for a man. He takes a part of it and warms himself; he kindles a fire and bakes bread. Also he makes a god and worships it; he makes it an idol and falls down before it.

Isaiah 46:6-7

6 eThose who lavish gold from the purse,
and weigh out silver in the scales,
hire a goldsmith, and he makes it into a god;
fthen they fall down and worship!
7 gThey lift it to their shoulders, they carry it,
they set it in its place, and it stands there;
hit cannot move from its place.
If one cries to it, it does not answer
or save him from his trouble.

Jeremiah 10:3-5

3 ifor the customs of the peoples are vanity.
Or vapor, or mist

kA tree from the forest is cut down
and worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman.
4 lThey decorate it with silver and gold;
mthey fasten it with hammer and nails
so that it cannot move.
5Their idols
Hebrew They
are like scarecrows in a cucumber field,
and othey cannot speak;
pthey have to be carried,
for they cannot walk.
Do not be afraid of them,
qfor they cannot do evil,
neither is it in them to do good.”

Jeremiah 10:9

9 rBeaten silver is brought from sTarshish,
and gold from tUphaz.
uThey are the work of the craftsman and of the hands of the goldsmith;
their clothing is violet and purple;
vthey are all the work of skilled men.

Daniel 3:1-7

A  cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters

2Then King Nebuchadnezzar sent to gather zthe satraps, the prefects, and aathe governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces to come to the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 3Then abthe satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. And they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 4And the herald acproclaimed aloud, “You are commanded, O adpeoples, nations, and languages, 5that when you hear the aesound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, you afare to fall down and worship the golden image that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up. 6And whoever does not fall down and worship shall immediately agbe cast into a burning fiery furnace.” 7Therefore, as soon as all the peoples heard the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, all ahthe peoples, nations, and languages fell down and worshiped the golden image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
