Isaiah 40:29-31

29 He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
30 Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
31 but ^athey who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings ^blike eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

9 But he said to me, ^c“My grace is sufficient for you, for ^dmy power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that ^ethe power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 ^fFor the sake of Christ, then, ^gI am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For ^hwhen I am weak, then I am strong.
