Isaiah 40:3-4

^c“In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord;
^dmake straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4 ^eEvery valley shall be lifted up,
and every mountain and hill be made low;
the uneven ground shall become level,
and the rough places a plain.

Isaiah 44:23

23 ^fSing, O heavens, for the Lord has done it;
shout, O ^gdepths of the earth;
break forth into singing, O mountains,
O forest, and every tree in it!
For the Lord has redeemed Jacob,
^hand will be glorified ^{▼▼Or will display his beauty} in Israel.

Isaiah 49:11-13

11 ^jAnd I will make all my mountains a road,
and my highways shall be raised up.

Isaiah 55:12-13

and be led forth in peace;

shall break forth into singing,
and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 ^sInstead of the thorn shall come up the cypress;
instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle;
and it shall make a name for the Lord,
an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

Luke 3:4-6
