Isaiah 41:17

17 ^aWhen the poor and needy seek water,
and there is none,
and their tongue is parched with thirst,
I the Lord will answer them;
I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

Isaiah 42:16

16 ^bAnd I will lead the blind
in a way that they do not know,
in paths that they have not known
I will guide them.
I will turn the darkness before them into light,
^cthe rough places into level ground.
These are the things I do,
and I do not forsake them.

Jeremiah 33:24-26

24 “Have you not observed that these people are saying, ‘The Lord has rejected the two clans that he chose’?
