Isaiah 41:2

2 aWho stirred up one from the east
whom victory meets at every bstep?
Or  whom righteousness calls to follow?

dHe gives up nations before him,
so that he tramples kings underfoot;
he makes them like dust with his sword,
elike driven stubble with his bow.

Isaiah 41:25

25 fI stirred up one from the north, and he has come,
gfrom the rising of the sun, hand he shall call upon my name;
he shall trample on rulers as on mortar,
as the potter treads clay.

Isaiah 45:1-6

Cyrus, God’s Instrument

1 Thus says the Lord to ihis anointed, to Cyrus,
jwhose right hand I have grasped,
to subdue nations before him
and kto loose the belts of kings,
to open doors before him
that gates may not be closed:
2I will go before you
and llevel the exalted places,

nI will break in pieces the doors of bronze
and cut through the bars of iron,
3 oI will give you the treasures of darkness
and the hoards in secret places,
that you may know that it is I, the Lord,
the God of Israel, pwho call you by your name.
4For the sake of my servant Jacob,
and Israel my chosen,
qI call you by your name,
rI name you, though you do not know me.
5 sI am the Lord, and there is no other,
besides me there is no God;
tI equip you, though you do not know me,
6 uthat people may know, from the rising of the sun
and from the west, that there is none besides me;
I am the Lord, and there is no other.

Isaiah 46:11

11 vcalling a bird of prey from the east,
the man of my counsel from a far country.
wI have spoken, and I will bring it to pass;
I have purposed, and I will do it.

Isaiah 48:14-15

14 Assemble, all of you, and listen!
xWho among them has declared these things?
The Lord loves him;
yhe shall perform his purpose on Babylon,
and his arm shall be against zthe Chaldeans.
15 aaI, even I, have spoken and called him;
I have brought him, and he will prosper in his way.
