Isaiah 41:23-24

23 aTell us what is to come hereafter,
that we may know that you are gods;
bdo good, or do harm,
that we may be dismayed and terrified.
Or  that we may both be dismayed and see

24Behold, dyou are nothing,
and your work is less than nothing;
an abomination is he who chooses you.

Isaiah 44:9-10

The Folly of Idolatry

9 eAll who fashion idols are nothing, and the things they delight in do not profit. Their witnesses neither see nor know, that they may be put to shame. 10 fWho fashions a god or casts an idol that is profitable for nothing?

Isaiah 45:20

20 g“Assemble yourselves and come;
draw near together,
you survivors of the nations!
hThey have no knowledge
who icarry about their wooden idols,
jand keep on praying to a god
that cannot save.

1 Corinthians 8:4
