Isaiah 42:1

The Lord’s Chosen Servant

1 aBehold bmy servant, whom I uphold,
my chosen, cin whom my soul delights;
dI have put my Spirit upon him;
ehe will bring forth justice to the nations.

Isaiah 43:10

10 f“You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord,
“and gmy servant whom I have chosen,
that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
hBefore me no god was formed,
nor shall there be any after me.

Isaiah 49:1-3

The Servant of the Lord

1 Listen to me, iO coastlands,
and give attention, you peoples jfrom afar.
kThe Lord called me from the womb,
from the body of my mother he named my name.
2 lHe made my mouth like a sharp sword;
min the shadow of his hand he hid me;
he made me a polished arrow;
in his quiver he hid me away.
3And he said to me, “You are my servant,
Israel, nin whom I will be glorified.”

Zechariah 4:6-14

6Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to pZerubbabel: qNot by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. 7Who are you, rO great mountain? Before sZerubbabel tyou shall become a plain. And he shall bring forward uthe top stone amid shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’”

8Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 9 v“The hands of wZerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also xcomplete it. yThen you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you. 10 zFor whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice, and shall see aathe plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.

11Then I said to him, “What are these aetwo olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?” 12And a second time I answered and said to him, “What are these aftwo branches of the olive trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the golden oil

13He said to me, ah“Do you not know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.” 14Then he said, aiThese are the two anointed ones
Hebrew  two sons of new oil
who stand by akthe Lord of the whole earth.”

Matthew 12:18
