Isaiah 42:13-16

13 cThe Lord goes out like a mighty man,
like a man of war dhe stirs up his zeal;
he cries out, ehe shouts aloud,
he shows himself mighty against his foes.
14 For a long time I have held my peace;
I have kept still and restrained myself;
now I will cry out flike a woman in labor;
I will gasp and pant.
15 gI will lay waste mountains and hills,
and dry up all their vegetation;
I will turn the rivers into islands,
Or  into coastlands

and dry up the pools.
16 iAnd I will lead the blind
in a way that they do not know,
in paths that they have not known
I will guide them.
I will turn the darkness before them into light,
jthe rough places into level ground.
These are the things I do,
and I do not forsake them.

Isaiah 51:9-10

9 uAwake, awake, vput on strength,

10 aaWas it not you who dried up the sea,
the waters of the great deep,
who made the depths of the sea a way
for the redeemed to pass over?

Isaiah 59:16-19

16 adHe saw that there was no man,
and wondered that there was no one to intercede;
then his own arm brought him salvation,
and his righteousness upheld him.
17 aeHe put on righteousness as a breastplate,
and a helmet of salvation on his head;
he put on garments of vengeance for clothing,
and wrapped himself in afzeal as a cloak.
18 agAccording to their deeds, so will he repay,
wrath to his adversaries, repayment to his enemies;
ahto the coastlands he will render repayment.
19 aiSo they shall fear the name of the Lord from the west,
and his glory from the rising of the sun;
ajfor he will come like a rushing stream,
Hebrew  a narrow river

which the wind of the Lord drives.
