Israel the Lord’s Chosen
1 “But now hear, aO Jacob my servant,Israel whom I have chosen!
2Thus says the Lord who made you,
bwho formed you from the womb and will help you:
cFear not, O Jacob my servant,
dJeshurun whom I have chosen.

24“Have you not observed that these people are saying, ‘The Lord has rejected the two clans that he chose’? Thus they have despised my people so that they are no longer a nation in their sight.Mark 13:20
20And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for ethe sake of the elect, whom fhe chose, he shortened the days.
