Isaiah 44:19-20

19No one considers, nor is there knowledge or discernment to say, “Half of it I burned in the fire; I also baked bread on its coals; I roasted meat and have eaten. And shall I make the rest of it an aabomination? Shall I fall down before a block of wood?” 20 bHe feeds on cashes; a deluded heart has led him astray, and he cannot deliver himself or say, “Is there not da lie in my right hand?”

you have set your bed,
and there you went up to offer sacrifice.
8Behind the door and the doorpost
you have set up your memorial;
for, deserting me, fyou have uncovered your bed,
you have gone up to it,
gyou have made it wide;
and you have made a covenant for yourself with them,
you have loved their bed,
you have looked on nakedness.
Or  on a monument (see 56:5); Hebrew  on a hand

Jeremiah 2:27-28

27who say to a tree, ‘You are my father,’
and to a stone, ‘You gave me birth.’
For they have turned their back to me,
and not their face.
But iin the time of their trouble they say,
Arise and save us!’
28But jwhere are your gods
that you made for yourself?
Let them arise, kif they can save you,
in your time of trouble;
for las many as your cities
are your gods, O Judah.
