25 who frustrates the signs of liars
and makes fools of diviners,
^awho turns wise men back
and makes their knowledge foolish,

Jeremiah 27:9-10

9 So ^bdo not listen to your ^cprophets, your diviners, your dreamers, your ^dfortune-tellers, or your sorcerers, who are saying to you, ‘You shall not serve the king of Babylon.’ 10 ^eFor it is a lie that they are prophesying to you, with the result that you will be removed far from your land, and I will drive you out, and you will perish.
