Isaiah 44:25

25 who frustrates the signs of liars
and makes fools of diviners,
^awho turns wise men back
and makes their knowledge foolish,

Romans 1:21-25

21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they ^bbecame futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 ^cClaiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and ^dexchanged the glory of ^ethe immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore ^fGod gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to ^gthe dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for ^ha lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, ⁱwho is blessed forever! Amen.
