Isaiah 45:1-5

Cyrus, God’s Instrument

1 Thus says the Lord to ^dhis anointed, to Cyrus,
^ewhose right hand I have grasped,
to subdue nations before him
and ^fto loose the belts of kings,
to open doors before him
that gates may not be closed:
2 “I will go before you

ⁱI will break in pieces the doors of bronze
and cut through the bars of iron,
3 ^jI will give you the treasures of darkness
and the hoards in secret places,

and Israel my chosen,

Daniel 5:28-31

Daniel 7:5

Daniel 8:3-4

3 I raised my eyes and saw, and behold, ^aea ram standing on the bank of the canal. It had two horns, and both horns were high, but one was higher than the other, and the higher one came up last. 4 I saw ^afthe ram charging westward and northward and southward.
