Isaiah 45:1

Cyrus, God’s Instrument

1 Thus says the Lord to ahis anointed, to Cyrus,
bwhose right hand I have grasped,
to subdue nations before him
and cto loose the belts of kings,
to open doors before him
that gates may not be closed:

Jeremiah 27:6

6 dNow I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, emy servant, fand I have given him also the beasts of the field to serve him.

Jeremiah 29:4

4Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, to all the exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon:

Jeremiah 29:7

7But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and gpray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.

Jeremiah 29:14

14I will be found by you, declares the Lord, hand I will restore your fortunes and igather you from all the nations and all the places jwhere I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

Jeremiah 29:20

20Hear the word of the Lord, all you exiles kwhom I sent away from Jerusalem to Babylon:

Jeremiah 43:10

10and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, lmy servant, mand I will set his throne above these stones that I have hidden, and he will spread his royal canopy over them.

Jeremiah 44:28

28 nAnd those who escape the sword shall return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah, ofew in number; and all the remnant of Judah, who came to the land of Egypt to live, pshall know whose word will stand, mine or theirs.

Jeremiah 51:7

7Babylon was qa golden cup in the Lord’s hand,
rmaking all the earth drunken;
sthe nations drank of her wine;
therefore the nations went mad.
