8 ^bIn overflowing anger for a moment
I hid my face from you,
^cbut with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,”
says the Lord, your Redeemer.

as I swore that the waters of Noah
should no more go over the earth,
so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you,
and will not rebuke you.
10 For the mountains may depart
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and ^fmy covenant of peace shall not be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

Ezekiel 37:26-27

26 ^gI will make a covenant of peace with them. It shall be ^han everlasting covenant with them. And I will set them in their land ^{▼▼Hebrew lacks in their land} and ^jmultiply them, and will ^kset my sanctuary in their midst forevermore. 27 ^lMy dwelling place shall be with them, ^mand I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Ezekiel 39:23-25

23 And ⁿthe nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they dealt so treacherously with me that ^oI hid my face from them and ^pgave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword. 24 I dealt with them ^qaccording to their uncleanness and their transgressions, and hid my face from them.

The Lord Will Restore Israel
