Isaiah 45:20

20 a“Assemble yourselves and come;
draw near together,
you survivors of the nations!
bThey have no knowledge
who ccarry about their wooden idols,
dand keep on praying to a god
that cannot save.

Isaiah 46:7

7 eThey lift it to their shoulders, they carry it,
they set it in its place, and it stands there;
fit cannot move from its place.
If one cries to it, it does not answer
or save him from his trouble.

Jeremiah 8:19

19Behold, the cry of the daughter of my people

“Is the Lord not in Zion?

14 uEvery man is stupid and without knowledge;
vevery goldsmith is put to shame by his idols,
for his images are false,
wand there is no breath in them.
15They are worthless, a work of delusion;
at the time of their punishment they shall perish.

Jeremiah 14:22

22Are there any among xthe false gods of the nations ythat can bring rain?
Or can the heavens give showers?
Are you not he, O Lord our God?
