Isaiah 45:9

9 ^a“Woe to him who strives with him who formed him,
a pot among earthen pots!
^bDoes the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’
or ‘Your work has no handles’?

Isaiah 64:8

8 ^cBut now, O Lord, you are our Father;
^dwe are the clay, and you are our potter;
^ewe are all the work of your hand.

Romans 9:20-21

20 But who are you, O man, ^fto answer back to God? ^gWill what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 ^hHas the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump ⁱone vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?
