Isaiah 46:1-2

The Idols of Babylon and the One True God

1 aBel bows down; Nebo stoops;
their idols are on beasts and livestock;
these things you carry are borne
as burdens on weary beasts.
2They stoop; they bow down together;
they cannot save the burden,
but bthemselves go into captivity.

Jeremiah 43:12-13

12 cI shall kindle a fire din the temples of the gods of Egypt, and he shall burn them eand carry them away captive. fAnd he shall clean the land of Egypt gas a shepherd cleans his cloak of vermin, and he shall go away from there in peace. 13He shall break the hobelisks of Heliopolis, which is in the land of Egypt, iand the temples of the gods of Egypt he shall burn with fire.’”

Daniel 11:8

8He shall also carry off to Egypt their gods with their metal images and their precious jvessels of silver and gold, and for some years he shall refrain from attacking the king of the north.

Hosea 8:6

6For it is from Israel;
a craftsman made it;
it is not God.
