The Righteousness of God Through Faith

15But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for rmany. 16And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin. The Message of Salvation to All
5For ahMoses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that aithe person who does the commandments shall live by them. 6But ajthe righteousness based on faith says, ak“Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7“or ‘Who will descend into the alabyss?’” (that is, amto bring Christ up from the dead). 8But what does it say? an“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9because, if aoyou confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and apbelieve in your heart aqthat God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.2 Corinthians 5:21
