Jeremiah 26:4-6

4 You shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord: ^hIf you will not listen to me, to walk in my law that I have set before you, 5 ⁱand to listen to the words of my servants the prophets whom I send to you ^jurgently, ^kthough you have not listened, 6 then I will make this house ^llike Shiloh, and I will make this city ^ma curse for all the nations of the earth.’”

Jeremiah 35:15-17

15 I have sent to you all my servants the prophets, sending them ⁿpersistently, saying, ^o‘Turn now every one of you from his evil way, and amend your deeds, and ^pdo not go after other gods to serve them, and then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to you and your fathers.’ ^qBut you did not incline your ear or listen to me. 16 The sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have kept the command that their father gave them, but this people has not obeyed me. 17 Therefore, thus says the Lord, the God of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing upon Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the disaster that I have pronounced against them, ^rbecause I have spoken to them and they have not listened, ^sI have called to them and they have not answered.”

Zechariah 1:4

4 ^tDo not be like your fathers, ^uto whom the former prophets cried out, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, ^vReturn from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.’ But ^wthey did not hear or pay attention to me, declares the Lord.

Zechariah 7:11-14

11 But ^xthey refused to pay attention ^yand turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears that they might not hear. ^{▼▼Hebrew and made their ears too heavy to hear} 12 ^aaThey made their hearts diamond-hard ^ablest they should hear the law and the words that the Lord of hosts had sent ^acby his Spirit through ^adthe former prophets. ^aeTherefore great anger came from the Lord of hosts. 13 ^af“As I ^{▼▼Hebrew he} called, and they would not hear, ^ahso they called, and I would not hear,” says the Lord of hosts, 14 ^ai“and I scattered them with a whirlwind among all ^ajthe nations that they had not known. ^akThus the land they left was desolate, ^also that no one went to and fro, ^amand the pleasant land was made desolate.”

Acts 3:23

23 And it shall be that every soul who does not listen to that prophet ^anshall be destroyed from the people.’
