Isaiah 49:15

15 a“Can a woman forget her nursing child,
that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.

Lamentations 2:11

11 bMy eyes are spent with weeping;
cmy stomach churns;
dmy bile is poured out to the ground
ebecause of the destruction of the daughter of my people,
fbecause infants and babies gfaint
in the streets of the city.

Lamentations 2:19

19 Arise, hcry out in the night,
at the beginning of the night watches!
iPour out your heart like water
before the presence of the Lord!
jLift your hands to him
for the lives of your children,
kwho faint for hunger
at the head of every street.”

Lamentations 4:3

3 Even jackals offer the breast;
they nurse their young;
but the daughter of my people has become cruel,
like the ostriches in the wilderness.

Lamentations 4:10

10 lThe hands of mcompassionate women
nhave boiled their own children;
othey became their food
during the destruction of the daughter of my people.

Ezekiel 2:6

6And you, son of man, pbe not afraid of them, nor be afraid of their words, qthough briers and thorns are with you and you sit on rscorpions.
Or  on scorpion plants
Be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house.
