Isaiah 5:2

2He dug it and cleared it of stones,
and planted it with achoice vines;
he built a watchtower in the midst of it,
and hewed out a wine vat in it;
and bhe looked for it to yield grapes,
but it yielded wild grapes.

Isaiah 5:4

4 cWhat more was there to do for my vineyard,
that I have not done in it?
dWhen I looked for it to yield grapes,
why did it yield wild grapes?

Matthew 3:10

10Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. eEvery tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
