Isaiah 5:4-5

4 aWhat more was there to do for my vineyard,
that I have not done in it?
bWhen I looked for it to yield grapes,
why did it yield wild grapes?
5 And now I will tell you
what I will do to my vineyard.
I will remove cits hedge,
and it shall be devoured;
Or grazed over; compare Exodus 22:5

eI will break down its wall,
and it shall be trampled down.

Luke 3:9

9Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. fEvery tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”

Luke 13:6-9

The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree

6And he told this parable: A man had ga fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. 7And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. hCut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’ 8And he answered him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put on manure. 9Then if it should bear fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.’”

John 15:2

2 iEvery branch in me that does not bear fruit jhe takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, kthat it may bear more fruit.

John 15:6

6If anyone does not abide in me lhe is thrown away like a branch and withers; mand the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.

Titus 1:16

16 pThey profess to know God, but they qdeny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, runfit for any good work.
