Jeremiah 5:12

12 They have spoken falsely of the Lord
and have said, ‘He will do nothing;
^cno disaster will come upon us,
^dnor shall we see sword or famine.

Jeremiah 9:16

16 ^eI will scatter them among the nations ^fwhom neither they nor their fathers have known, and I will ^gsend the sword after them, until I have consumed them.”

Jeremiah 14:15-16

15 Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although ^hI did not send them, and who say, ⁱ‘Sword and famine shall not come upon this land’: ^jBy sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed. 16 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem, victims of famine and sword, ^kwith none to bury them—them, their wives, their sons, and their daughters. Jeremiah 19:7

7 And in this place ^rI will make void the plans of Judah and Jerusalem, ^sand will cause their people to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of those who seek their life. ^tI will give their dead bodies for food to the birds of the air and to the beasts of the earth.

Pestilence and ^asblood shall pass through you, and I will bring the sword upon you. I am the Lord; I have spoken.”
