Isaiah 51:3

3For the Lord acomforts Zion;
he comforts all her waste places
and makes her wilderness like bEden,
her desert like cthe garden of the Lord;
djoy and gladness will be found in her,
thanksgiving and the voice of song.

Isaiah 52:9

9 eBreak forth together into singing,
fyou waste places of Jerusalem,
for gthe Lord has comforted his people;
he has redeemed Jerusalem.

Isaiah 58:12

12 hAnd your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt;
you shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
you shall be called the repairer of the breach,
the restorer of streets to dwell in.

Isaiah 61:4

4 iThey shall build up the ancient ruins;
they shall raise up the former devastations;
they shall repair the ruined cities,
the devastations of many generations.

Jeremiah 31:10-14

10 Hear the word of the Lord, O nations,
and declare it in the coastlands far away;
say, ‘He who scattered Israel will jgather him,

and the young men and the old shall be merry.
tI will turn their mourning into joy;
I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow.

and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness,

declares the Lord.”

Ezekiel 36:33

33Thus says the Lord God: On the day that vI cleanse you from all your iniquities, wI will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be rebuilt.

Amos 9:14

14 xI will restore the fortunes of my people Israel,
and ythey shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them;
zthey shall plant vineyards and drink their wine,
and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.
