Isaiah 52:7-10

are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, bwho brings good news of happiness,

8The voice of cyour watchmen—they lift up their voice;
together they sing for joy;
dfor eye to eye they see

before the eyes of all the nations,
iand all the ends of the earth shall see

from her glorious abundance.”

12 For thus says the Lord:
mBehold, I will extend peace to her like a river,
and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream;
and nyou shall nurse, you shall be carried upon her hip,
and bounced upon her knees.
13As one whom his mother comforts,
so oI will comfort you;
you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
14You shall see, and your heart shall rejoice;
pyour bones shall flourish like the grass;
and qthe hand of the Lord shall be known to his servants,
and he shall show his indignation against his enemies.

vover the grain, the wine, and the oil,
and over the young of the flock and the herd;
wtheir life shall be like a watered garden,
xand they shall languish no more.

achumble, and mounted on a donkey,
on a colt,
Or donkey, and on a colt,
the foal of a beast of burden.’”
6The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them. 7They brought the donkey and the colt and put on them their cloaks, and he sat on them. 8Most of the crowd aespread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, afHosanna to agthe Son of David! ahBlessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna aiin the highest!”
