Isaiah 52:7-9

7 aHow beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, bwho brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
8The voice of cyour watchmen—they lift up their voice;
together they sing for joy;
dfor eye to eye they see
the return of the Lord to Zion.
9 eBreak forth together into singing,
fyou waste places of Jerusalem,
for gthe Lord has comforted his people;
he has redeemed Jerusalem.

The Eternal Covenant of Peace

1 hSing, O barren one, who did not bear;
break forth into singing and cry aloud,
you who have not been in labor!

than the children of her who is married,” says the Lord.

Jeremiah 30:19

19 kOut of them shall come songs of thanksgiving,

Israel’s Joy and Restoration

14 vSing aloud, O daughter of Zion;
shout, O Israel!
Rejoice and exult with all your heart,
O daughter of Jerusalem!
15The Lord has taken away the judgments against you;
he has cleared away your enemies.
wThe King of Israel, xthe Lord, is in your midst;
you shall never again fear evil.
16 yOn that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
Fear not, O Zion;
zlet not your hands grow weak.
17 aaThe Lord your God is in your midst,
aba mighty one who will save;
ache will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.
18I will gather those of you who mourn adfor the festival,
so that you will no longer suffer reproach.

19Behold, at that time afI will deal
with all your oppressors.
And agI will save the lame
and gather the outcast,
and I will change ahtheir shame into aipraise
and renown in all the earth.
20 ajAt that time I will bring you in,
at the time when I gather you together;
for I will make you renowned and praised
among all the peoples of the earth,
akwhen I restore your fortunes
before your eyes,” says the Lord.

Zechariah 2:10

10 alSing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for ambehold, I come anand I will dwell in your midst, declares the Lord.
