Isaiah 53:11-12

^dand he shall bear their iniquities.

because he poured out his soul to death
and was numbered with the transgressors;
ⁱyet he bore the sin of many,
and makes intercession for the transgressors.

Luke 24:26

26 ^jWas it not necessary that ^kthe Christ should suffer these things and enter into ^lhis glory?”

Philippians 2:7-11

Hebrews 2:9-10

10 For it ^afwas fitting that he, ^agfor whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons ^ahto glory, should make the ^aifounder of their salvation ^ajperfect through suffering.

1 Peter 1:11
