Isaiah 53:4-9

4 ^aSurely he has borne our griefs
and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken,
^bsmitten by God, and afflicted.
5 ^cBut he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
^dand with his wounds we are healed.
6 ^eAll we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned—every one—to his own way;
^fand the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted,
^gyet he opened not his mouth;
^hlike a ⁱlamb that is led to the slaughter,
and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent,
so he opened not his mouth.
8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away;
and as for his generation, ^jwho considered
that he was cut off out of the land of the living,
stricken for the transgression of my people?
9 And they made his grave with the wicked
^kand with a rich man in his death,
although ^lhe had done no violence,
and there was no deceit in his mouth.

Daniel 9:26-27

26 And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall ^mbe cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come ⁿshall destroy the city and the sanctuary. ^oIts ^{▼▼Or His} end shall come with a flood, ^qand to the end there shall be war. ^rDesolations are decreed. 27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, ^{▼▼Or seven; twice in this verse} and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. ^tAnd on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until ^uthe decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”
