The Eternal Covenant of Peace

1 aSing, O barren one, who did not bear;
break forth into singing and cry aloud,
you who have not been in labor!
For the children of bthe desolate one cwill be more
than the children of her who is married,” says the Lord.

Isaiah 61:10

10 dI will greatly rejoice in the Lord;
my soul shall exult in my God,
efor he has clothed me with the garments of salvation;
he has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decks himself flike a priest with a beautiful headdress,
gand as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Isaiah 65:18-19

18But be glad and rejoice forever
in that which I create;
for behold, hI create Jerusalem to be a joy,
and her people to be a gladness.
19 iI will rejoice in Jerusalem
and be glad in my people;
jno more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping
and the cry of distress.

Isaiah 66:14

14You shall see, and your heart shall rejoice;
kyour bones shall flourish like the grass;
and lthe hand of the Lord shall be known to his servants,
and he shall show his indignation against his enemies.

Jeremiah 30:19

19 mOut of them shall come songs of thanksgiving,
and the voices of those who celebrate.
nI will multiply them, and they shall not be few;
I will make them honored, and they shall not be small.

Jeremiah 31:12

12They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion,
oand they shall be radiant pover the goodness of the Lord,
qover the grain, the wine, and the oil,
and over the young of the flock and the herd;
rtheir life shall be like a watered garden,
sand they shall languish no more.

Jeremiah 33:11

11 tthe voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing, as they bring uthank offerings to the house of the Lord:

v“‘Give thanks to the Lord of hosts,
for the Lord is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever!’
wFor I will restore the fortunes of the land as at first, says the Lord.
