Isaiah 55:1-3

The Compassion of the Lord

1 ^a“Come, everyone who thirsts,
come to the waters;
and he who has no money,
^bcome, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without price.
2 ^cWhy do you spend your money for that which is not bread,
and your labor for that which does not satisfy?
Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good,
and delight yourselves in rich food.
3 Incline your ear, and come to me;
^dhear, that your soul may live;
^eand I will make with you an everlasting covenant,
^fmy steadfast, sure love for ^gDavid.

Isaiah 66:10-14

10 ^h“Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad for her,
all you who love her;
rejoice with her in joy,
all you who mourn over her;
11 that you may nurse and be satisfied
from her consoling breast;
that you may drink deeply with delight

14 You shall see, and your heart shall rejoice;

and he shall show his indignation against his enemies.

Zechariah 9:15-17

15 The Lord of hosts ^owill protect them,
and ^pthey shall devour, ^qand tread down the sling stones,
and ^rthey shall drink and roar as if drunk with wine,
and be full like a bowl,

16 On that day the Lord their God will save them,
