Isaiah 56:10-12

10 ^aHis watchmen are blind;
they are all without knowledge;

they cannot bark,
dreaming, lying down,
loving to slumber.
11 ^cThe dogs have a mighty appetite;
they never have enough.
But ^dthey are shepherds who have no understanding;
they have all turned to their own way,
^eeach to his own gain, one and all.
12 ^f“Come,” they say, “let me get wine;
let us fill ourselves with strong drink;
^gand tomorrow will be like this day,
great beyond measure.”

Jeremiah 6:13

Ezekiel 33:31

False Prophets and Teachers

1 But ^aafalse prophets also arose among the people, ^abjust as there will be false teachers among you, who will ^acsecretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master ^adwho bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth ^aewill be blasphemed. 3 And ^afin their greed they will exploit you ^agwith false words. ^ahTheir condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.
