9 aAll you beasts of the field, come to devour
all you beasts in the forest.

Jeremiah 12:9-12

9Is bmy heritage to me like ca hyena’s lair?
Are the dbirds of prey against her all around?
Go, eassemble all the wild beasts;
bring them to devour.
10Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard;
fthey have trampled down my portion;
they have made my pleasant portion
a desolate wilderness.
11They have made it a desolation;
desolate, git mourns to me.
The whole land is made desolate,
hbut no man lays it to heart.
12Upon all the bare heights in the desert
destroyers have come,
for the sword of the Lord devours
from one end of the land to the other;
no flesh has peace.

Ezekiel 34:8

8 iAs I live, declares the Lord God, surely because jmy sheep have become a prey, and my sheep have become food for all the wild beasts, since there was no shepherd, and because my shepherds have not searched for my sheep, but the shepherds have fed themselves, and have not fed my sheep,

John 10:2

2But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
