you have set your bed,

Jeremiah 3:1-3

Where have you not been ravished?
jBy the waysides you have sat awaiting lovers
like an Arab in the wilderness.
kYou have polluted the land
with your vile whoredom.
3 lTherefore the showers have been withheld,
and the spring rain has not come;

Ezekiel 23:16-17

The meaning of the Hebrew verse is uncertain
44For they have gone in to her, as men go in to a prostitute. Thus they went in to Oholah and to Oholibah, lewd women!

Hosea 2:13

13And acI will punish her for adthe feast days of the Baals
when she burned offerings to them
and aeadorned herself with her ring and jewelry,
and went after her lovers
and forgot me, declares the Lord.

Hosea 8:9

9For afthey have gone up to Assyria,
aga wild donkey wandering alone;
Ephraim has hired lovers.
