Isaiah 58:2

2 aYet they seek me daily
and delight to know my ways,
as if they were a nation that did righteousness
and did not forsake the judgment of their God;
they ask of me righteous judgments;
they delight to draw near to God.

Jeremiah 42:2-5

2and said to Jeremiah the prophet, “Let bour plea for mercy come before you, and cpray to the Lord your God for us, for all dthis remnantebecause we are left with but a few, as your eyes see us— 3that fthe Lord your God may show us the way we should go, and the thing that we should do.” 4Jeremiah the prophet said to them, “I have heard you. Ezekiel 33:31

31 mAnd they come to you as people come, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear what you say but they will not do it; for nwith lustful talk in their mouths they act; their heart is set on their gain.

26 y“‘Go to this people, and say,
z“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
27 aaFor this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
and their eyes they have closed;
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and abturn, and I would heal them.’
