Isaiah 58:7-12

7Is it not ato share your bread with the hungry
and bring the homeless poor into your house;
when you see the naked, to cover him,
band not to hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 cThen shall your light break forth like the dawn,
dand your healing shall spring up speedily;
eyour righteousness shall go before you;
fthe glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
9Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer;
you shall cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’
If you take away gthe yoke from your midst,
hthe pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
10 iif you pour yourself out for the hungry
and satisfy the desire of the afflicted,
jthen shall your light rise in the darkness
and your gloom be as the noonday.
11And the Lord will guide you continually
and satisfy your desire in scorched places
and make your bones strong;
and you shall be klike a watered garden,
like a spring of water,
whose waters do not fail.
12 lAnd your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt;
you shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
you shall be called the repairer of the breach,
the restorer of streets to dwell in.

Daniel 4:27

27Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable to you: break off your sins by mpracticing righteousness, nand your iniquities by showing mercy to the oppressed, othat there may perhaps be a lengthening of your prosperity.”

Matthew 25:34-46

34Then pthe King will say to qthose on his right, ‘Come, you rwho are blessed by my Father, sinherit tthe kingdom uprepared for you vfrom the foundation of the world. 35For wI was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you xgave me drink, yI was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 zI was naked and you clothed me, aaI was sick and you abvisited me, acI was in prison and you came to me.’ 37Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40And adthe King will answer them, aeTruly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these afmy brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters
you did it to me.’

41Then he will say to those on his left, ahDepart from me, you aicursed, into ajthe eternal fire prepared for akthe devil and his angels. 42For alI was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ 44Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ 45Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, amyou did not do it to me.’ 46And these will go away aninto eternal punishment, but the righteous aointo apeternal life.”

Luke 6:30-36

30 aqGive to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back. 31And aras you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.

32 asIf you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34And atif you aulend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount. 35But avlove your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and awyou will be sons of axthe Most High, for ayhe is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. 36 azBe merciful, even as bayour Father is merciful.
