Isaiah 59:1-2

Evil and Oppression

1 Behold, athe Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save,
or his ear dull, that it cannot hear;
2 bbut your iniquities have made a separation
between you and your God,
and your sins have hidden his face from you
so that he does not hear.

Isaiah 59:12

12For our transgressions are multiplied before you,
and our sins testify against us;
for our transgressions are with us,
and we know our iniquities:

9There will be tribulation and distress cfor every human being who does evil, the Jew dfirst and also the Greek,

1 Corinthians 4:5

5Therefore edo not pronounce judgment before the time, fbefore the Lord comes, gwho will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. hThen each one will receive his commendation from God.
