Ch 9:1 in Hebrew
Oh that I had in the desert
a travelerslodging place,
that I might leave my people
and go away from them!
For they are all badulterers,
a company of ctreacherous men.
3 dThey bend their tongue like a bow;
falsehood and not truth has grown strong
Septuagint; Hebrew  and not for truth they have grown strong
in the land;
for they proceed from evil to evil,
fand they do not know me, declares the Lord.
4 gLet everyone beware of his neighbor,
and put no trust in any brother,
for every hbrother is a deceiver,
and every neighbor igoes about as a slanderer.
5Everyone deceives his neighbor,
and no one speaks the truth;
they have taught their tongue to speak lies;
they weary themselves committing iniquity.
6Heaping oppression upon oppression, and deceit upon deceit,
jthey refuse to know me, declares the Lord.

and is faithful to the Holy One.

Hosea 12:1

1Ephraim feeds on the wind
and pursues rthe east wind all day long;
they multiply sfalsehood and violence;
tthey make a covenant with Assyria,
and uoil is carried to Egypt.

Micah 7:3-7

3 vTheir hands are on what is evil, to do it well;
wthe prince and xthe judge ask for a bribe,
and the great man utters the evil desire of his soul;
thus they weave it together.
4The best of them is ylike a brier,
the most upright of them a thorn hedge.
The day of zyour watchmen, of your punishment, has come;
aanow their confusion is at hand.
5 abPut no trust in a neighbor;
have no confidence in a friend;
guard acthe doors of your mouth
from her who lies in your arms;

6for aethe son treats the father with contempt,
the daughter rises up against her mother,
the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
afa man’s enemies are the men of his own house.
7But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
agI will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me.
