Isaiah 6:9-10

9And he said, “Go, and say to this people:

a“‘Keep on hearing,
Or Hear indeed
but do not understand;
keep on seeing,
Or see indeed
but do not perceive.’
10 dMake the heart of this people edull,
Hebrew fat

and their ears heavy,
and blind their eyes;
glest they see with their eyes,
and hear with their ears,
and understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”

Isaiah 29:10

10 hFor the Lord has poured out upon you
a spirit of deep sleep,
and has closed your eyes (the prophets),
and covered your heads (the seers).

Isaiah 42:19-20

19Who is blind but my servant,
or deaf as my messenger whom I send?
Who is blind as my dedicated one,
Or  as the one at peace with me

or blind as the servant of the Lord?
20 jHe sees many things, but does not observe them;
khis ears are open, but he does not hear.

Jeremiah 50:35-37

35 “A sword against the Chaldeans, declares the Lord,
and against the inhabitants of Babylon,
and against lher officials and her mwise men!
36A sword against the diviners,
that they may become fools!
A sword against her nwarriors,
that they may be destroyed!
37A sword against her horses and against her chariots,
and against all othe foreign troops in her midst,
that pthey may become women!
qA sword against all her treasures,
that they may be plundered!

Hosea 4:5-7

5You shall stumble by day;
the prophet also shall stumble with you by night;
and I will destroy ryour mother.
6My people are destroyed sfor lack of knowledge;
tbecause you have rejected knowledge,
I reject you ufrom being a priest to me.
And since you have forgotten the law of your God,
vI also will forget your children.
7 wThe more they increased,
the more they sinned against me;
xI will change their glory into shame.

Amos 8:9-10

9 “And on that day,” declares the Lord God,
y“I will make the sun go down at noon
and darken the earth in broad daylight.
10 zI will turn your feasts into mourning
and all your songs into lamentation;
aaI will bring sackcloth on every waist
aband baldness on every head;
acI will make it like the mourning for an only son
and the end of it like a bitter day.
