Isaiah 6:9-10

9And he said, “Go, and say to this people:

a“‘Keep on hearing,
Or Hear indeed
but do not understand;
keep on seeing,
Or see indeed
but do not perceive.’
10 dMake the heart of this people edull,
Hebrew fat

and their ears heavy,
and blind their eyes;
glest they see with their eyes,
and hear with their ears,
and understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”

Isaiah 29:10-14

10 hFor the Lord has poured out upon you
a spirit of deep sleep,
and has closed your eyes (the prophets),
and covered your heads (the seers).
11And the vision of all this has become to you like the words of a book that is isealed. When men give it to one who can read, saying, “Read this,” he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.” 12And when they give the book to one who cannot read, saying, “Read this,” he says, “I cannot read.”

13 And the Lord said:
Because jthis people kdraw near with their mouth
and honor me with their lips,
while their hearts are far from me,
and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men,
14therefore, behold, lI will again
do wonderful things with this people,
with wonder upon wonder;
and mthe wisdom of their wise men shall perish,
and the discernment of their discerning men shall be hidden.”

Isaiah 44:18

18They know not, nor do they discern, for he has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, and their hearts, so that they cannot understand.

Matthew 13:14-15

14Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:

n“‘“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
15For this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears othey can barely hear,
and ptheir eyes they have closed,
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and qunderstand with their heart
and rturn, and I would heal them.’

John 12:38-41

38 sso that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:

tLord, who has believed what he heard from us,
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
39Therefore they ucould not believe. For again Isaiah said,

40 v“He has blinded their eyes
and whardened their heart,
lest they see with their eyes,
and understand with their heart, and turn,
and I would heal them.”
41Isaiah said these things because xhe saw his glory and yspoke of him.

Acts 28:25-27

25And disagreeing among themselves, they departed after Paul had made one statement: zThe Holy Spirit was right in saying to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet:

26 aa“‘Go to this people, and say,
ab“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
27 acFor this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
and their eyes they have closed;
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and adturn, and I would heal them.’
