Isaiah 6:9-10

9 And he said, “Go, and say to this people:

^a“‘Keep on hearing, ^{▼▼Or Hear indeed} but do not understand;
keep on seeing, ^{▼▼Or see indeed} but do not perceive.’
10 ^dMake the heart of this people ^edull, ^{▼▼Hebrew fat}
and their ears heavy,
and blind their eyes;
^glest they see with their eyes,
and hear with their ears,
and understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”

Ezekiel 12:2

2 ^h“Son of man, you dwell in the midst of ⁱa rebellious house, ^jwho have eyes to see, but see not, who have ears to hear, but hear not, for they are ^ka rebellious house.

Matthew 13:14-15

14 Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:

^l“‘“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
15 For this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears ^mthey can barely hear,
and ⁿtheir eyes they have closed,
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and ^ounderstand with their heart
and ^pturn, and I would heal them.’

Mark 4:12

“'they ^rmay indeed see but not perceive,
and may indeed hear but not understand,
lest they ^sshould turn and be forgiven.'”

Luke 8:10

10 he said, ^t“To you it has been given to know ^uthe secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so ^vthat ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

John 12:38-40

38 ^wso that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:
