Isaiah 6:9-10

9And he said, “Go, and say to this people:

a“‘Keep on hearing,
Or Hear indeed
but do not understand;
keep on seeing,
Or see indeed
but do not perceive.’
10 dMake the heart of this people edull,
Hebrew fat

and their ears heavy,
and blind their eyes;
glest they see with their eyes,
and hear with their ears,
and understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”

Ezekiel 12:2

2 hSon of man, you dwell in the midst of ia rebellious house, jwho have eyes to see, but see not, who have ears to hear, but hear not, for they are ka rebellious house.

Matthew 13:14-15

14Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:

l“‘“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
15For this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears mthey can barely hear,
and ntheir eyes they have closed,
lest they should see with their eyes
