Or Hear indeed
but do not understand;
keep on seeing,
Or see indeed
but do not perceive.’
10 dMake the heart of this people edull,
Hebrew fat

and their ears heavy,
and blind their eyes;
glest they see with their eyes,
and hear with their ears,
and understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”
11Then I said, h“How long, O Lord?”
And he said:
Until icities lie waste
without inhabitant,
and houses without people,
and the land is a desolate waste,

8For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. 9For we are glad when pwe are weak and you are strong. Your qrestoration is what we pray for. 10For this reason I write these things while I am away from you, that when I come rI may not have to be ssevere in my use of tthe authority that the Lord has given me for building up and not for tearing down.
